Dr. Azriel Hirschfeld, MD, is a distinguished oncologist with a rich academic background. After graduating from the Albert Einstein College Of Medicine, he completed his internal medicine residency at Temple University Hospital and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University Of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center. 

With over 15 years of practice, Dr. Hirschfeld has been a certified American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) member since 2009. Dr. Hirschfeld’s clinical focus revolves around gastrointestinal malignancies, with a particular interest in pancreatic cancer. 

He performs chemotherapy procedures, actively engages in research, explicitly explores drug resistance, and has participated in clinical trials. Dr. Hirschfeld believes in empowering his patients to understand their treatments and actively participate in decision-making. He encourages open communication, welcoming patients to share ideas and be proactive in their care.
